How It Works
Operation Harvest Sweep simply replaces the deck plates and gathering chains on your existing corn header. Here’s how it works:
Deck Plates
The deck plates included in Operation Harvest Sweep are custom built to fit your corn header. They have a lipped design, allowing them to retain shattered kernels, rather than letting them fall to the ground.
Gathering Chains
The gathering chains are also custom built. They are equipped with unique impact pads for gentler corn handling, helping to reduce the total amount of shatter experienced.
Impact Pads/Sweeps
Sweeps are attached to the new gathering chains to sweep the kernels from the deck plates to the auger.
